The Lucatello Farm is also an educational farm. The courses are particularly adapted for scholastic purposes. They last about half a day and are run in different stages:
1. Orientation.
2. History of the family and farm
3. Nature walks in the woods and cultivated crop fields.
4. Revisit of the farm and re-elaboration of materials (For entire day courses there will be sack lunches or tastings).
5. half hour free time.
6. Second part of activities.
7. re-elaboration and conclusion.

The following subjects can be chosen from:
- Alternative energy sources.
- The farm animals: what they eat, how and where they live.
- Organic farming (wheat and hay).
- Raising Purebred Hogs: the Cinta senese and Grigia breeds for the production of Casentine prosciutto.
- Horses and Humans: How they behave, what they eat, how they communicate with eachother and how they communicate with us.
- Getting to know official herbs and their uses: wild and cultivated.
- Environmental education: recycling, composting, learning how to monitor the air with lichens (eco-friendly indicators).
- Nature through our senses (especially hearing and smelling):a program especially adapted for small children.
The program can be modified according to interests.

HANDS ON FARMING AND PHASE DEMOS
In the farm there are two halls:
- One about 100 sqmt that works as an instructive room and space for ceremonies with an outdoor space, gazebo and garden.
- Another around 40 sqmt equipped and furnished for presentations and small business meetings with covered outdoor area on the floor level that opens onto the phyto depuration pool. The owners collaborate with organizations and universities who develop phase demonstrations and educational courses in Organic Agriculture, Environmental Education, Multi-Faceted Eco-Sustainable Agriculture fields.
