A little history…
Our great grandfather Vittorio, who was venetian, first came to this area with a group of railroad workers to build the Arezzo-Pratovecchio-Stia railway.
After falling in love with a Tuscan, great grandmother Milla, he married her and gave origin to the Casentinese discendants of Lucatello.
Organic Agritourism...
The newly restored buildings (originally rustics from the original property of Maura Lucatello's maternal grandparents), are situated on the Lo Scasso homestead and were realized according to eco-friendly criteria/design for healthy space and well-living, furnished with care and simplicity using second-hand objects and materials from traditional farm life.
On our farm we cultivate organic Casentine wheat and we are equipped with machinery that helps it become edible.
Our clients are welcomed to partecipate in the "Open Farm" afternoons and the tasting event "from the fields to your plate"; the many ways to prepare a genuine healthy product, rich in fiber that satisfies both macrobiotic and vegetarian diets.

The Lucatello Farm wanted to create a eco- pool privy of chlorine by way of phyto-depuration: a sand filter in a rock pool with acquatic plants. In this way, natural bathing water is produced.
During the summer you can find areas (at 5-6 km away) where the Arno river is pure enough for bathing in and in the winter, 15 km away in Bibbiena there is an indoor swimming pool.
The agritourism runs on solar energy at 1,5 kw power without letting off CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, integrating itself into the classic energy supply.
There are also two additional solar panels which guarantee hot water for sanitary use in all bathrooms of the agritourism.
